Jeff’s Prayer 7-21-2023

Good morning Lord! Lord, it’s a new day, and I am thankful for the opportunity to enjoy it! God, may I walk in every place you have for me today, speak every word you desire of me, and proclaim the only name that can change things today! That is the name of Jesus! Lord, may I carry the message of life to a lost and dying world, bringing hope to those who have given up, given in, or just given out! Lord, let me be an example of your Grace and mercy, for there was a time when I was lost and dying, But you O’Lord saw fit to call me out! I will never forget the Sunday morning, standing in my driveway washing my car. Lord, I didn’t know you, but I heard you, and I am ever so grateful you saw fit to choose me! Lord, I still get emotional just thinking of that day and how you lined up many instances for the next three months, until that Sunday morning in October when a guest preacher showed up at church. Lord, I remember the 12:30 alter call and no one went! Lord, I remember the 1:00 alter call and 4 people came and ask the pastor to pray for their kids but Lord I remember the preacher not giving up and preaching till 1:30 and telling the congregation to close their eyes one more time! I remember him saying someone’s heart is about to jump out of their chest, then I remember him saying I am gonna give you a clue…..you are a male and I remember looking up and he said Come On Son! God of Heaven ThankYou for speaking through that man that day and saving my life, my life has not been the same the last 35 years! Lord, let me be that voice and help others and let me be obedient with your message! In Jesus’ name I ask all these things. --Jeff West
